Summertime is the best time of year in my opinion! I don’t know about you but I love the change of pace that summer brings. I love sitting in the sun and drinking lemonade! That’s why the Lemon Zest stamps set is one of my favorites right now. It screams summer to me! I spent some time today playing around with it. See what you think of these samples that I made with this great set!
This card was made with a Whisper white card stock base, layers of Garden Green and Whisper White. The cut lemon images were stamped using Daffodil Delight. The whole lemon image was stamped on the Daffodil Delight cardstock in Daffodil Delight ink. I used dimensionals to pop up the lemon slice and then embellished with the our new Polka Dot Tulle ribbon. To punch out the whole lemon and leaves I used the Lemon Builder punch and to punch out the lemon slice I used the circle punch.
This card was made using a card base of Whisper White. Lemon Lime Twist cardstock was used as an accent. An additional Whisper White accent piece was run through the Big Shot using the Simple Stripes embossing folder. The lemons were stamped using Pineapple Punch on Whisper White and punched out using the Lemon Builder. The leaves were stamped on Whisper White using Granny Apple Green and punched out also using the Lemon Builder punch. the lemons were placed on the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The finishing touch on the card was the Whisper White baker’s twine tied in a knot.
For this card I switched it up a bit and stamped the “lemon” image in green to create limes. I used two shades of green to stamp the limes: Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist. The leaves and limes were both stamped on Whisper White cardstock. The card base was created using Whisper White cardstock and run through the Big Shot using the Simple Stripes embossing folder. Life’s Short was stamped using Lemon Lime Twist on Whisper White cardstock and punched out using the Everyday Label and layered on top of Lemon Lime Twist punched out using the Scalloped Tag Topper punch. This piece was wrapped with Whisper White baker’s twine.
This very simple card was created using a simple Whisper White card base, and lemon image stamped on Whisper White cardstock using Pineapple Punch and punched out using the Lemon Builder punch. The leaves were stamped in Granny Apple Green and also punched out using the Lemon Builder punch. Life’s short was stamped directly onto the card based in Lemon Lime Twist. The two background lemons were adhered to the card with Snail and the foreground lemon was adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
