Oh how I love our Annual Catalog! The best thing ever is when I get the first peek of the new catalog in June! I will tell you that as an Independent Demonstrator for Stampin’ Up! we have access to the new catalog in digital format before receiving our printed copy. I can hardly wait to see that file posted and open it up and dive right in but there is NOTHING better than having the actual catalog in my hand and browsing through it page by page. I can’t tell you how many times I look through it! I check it out for the new sets! The round red NEW icon next to all the new sets and products is the thing I search for when I open it up for the first time! New sets, Designer Series Paper, punches, framelits, and ribbon!!!!
The catalog is not just wonderful to see all the new items for sale but I love using it to find inspiration. Sometimes I CASE a card and maybe tweek it only a tiny bit. Sometimes looking through the catalog simply inspires me to use a stamp set I haven’t used in a while. Often I get color inspiration from the card samples splattered throughout the catalog! I absolutely love the colors of this card:
The colors are calming! Of course the beach scene adds to the serene feeling.
